IUIU FC Gears Up for Third Edition of 'Run for Girl Education'

The Islamic University in Uganda Females Campus (IUIU FC) is set to host the third edition of the "Run for Girl Education" on June 30th, 2024, at Females Campus Kabojja.

Participants will cover a distance of 9.4 kilometers, symbolizing the journey towards educational empowerment for underprivileged girls.

The Run is aimed at supporting over 300 girls this year to raise funds to support girls' education and create widespread awareness about the importance of girl child education aligning perfectly with Sustainable Development Goal 4, which advocates for inclusive and equitable quality education.

In a letter addressed to stakeholders and the public, the organizers have appealed to Participants and supporters to contribute to the cause by purchasing kits available at different price points: Platinum kits priced at UGX 50,000, Gold kits at UGX 30,000, and silver kits at UGX 20,000. Each kit includes various items such as T-shirts, bottles, and bags, serving as tokens of appreciation for the support extended towards this noble cause.

The success of the "Run for Girl Education" hinges on the collective effort and support from individuals, organizations, and the broader community. Every contribution, whether through participation or sponsorship, plays a pivotal role in transforming the lives of underprivileged girls through education.
