IUIU Admitted To the International Federation of Islamic Economics and Finance Education (I-FIEFE)

On 21^st February 2024, during the 15^th International Conference on Islamic Economics and Finance in Kuala Lumpur, the Islamic University In Uganda (IUIU) was officially admitted as an institutional member of the International Federation of Islamic Economics and Finance Education (I-FIEFE).

I-FIEFE was established in October 2016 during the 5^th International Symposium on Islamic Economics and Finance Education. The main objective of the Federation is “to establish a global network of all institutions and organizations involved directly or indirectly in Islamic Economics and finance education.

On this occasion, nine institutions worldwide, including IUIU were admitted to the Federation. IUIU membership certificate was received by Dr. Kasule Twaha Ahmed, the Director IUIU Kampala Campus, who attended this year’s conference and symposium in Kuala Lumpur.
