International Collaboration Under The Erasmus+ Programme

This Tuesday, 13th February 2024. It was nice to have Dr. Hakan Sönmez visit the Kampala Campus(KC) of the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) under the Erasmus+ Programme between Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University (TOGU) and IUIU.

Dr. Hakan Sönmez's visit to KC signified a promising exchange of knowledge and expertise in the field of language and literature.

The meetings were held between Dr Hakan, Vice Rector Dr. Jamil Serwanga, Deputy Director Dr. Kasozi Idris Sinan, Mr. Kafeero Ibrahim Muhammad, and Mr. Juma Kassim Muhindo, in the department of literature, highlights the commitment to fostering educational opportunities and discussing matters related to education in Turkey. Dr. Hakan's willingness to offer expertise further demonstrates the collaborative spirit of the Erasmus+ Programme.

Dr Hakan also came together with members of student leadership as well. This visit not only enriches the academic experience for both faculty and students but also strengthens cultural understanding and cooperation between institutions from different regions. Such initiatives play a vital role in promoting internationalization and enhancing the quality of education on a global scale.
