IUIU Holds Comprehensive Radio Training Program

Islamic University in Uganda, under the Department of Mass Communication, and IUIU FM, is currently hosting an intensive five-day radio training program. The program focuses on equipping participants with the necessary skills in the dynamic world of radio broadcasting. The training started on Monday, January 15, 2023, and promises to provide the latest techniques and insights to excel in this ever-evolving field.

This program aims to bridge the gap between young individuals like high school students, vacationists eager to venture into radio broadcasting, and seasoned practitioners looking to refine their craft. The training curriculum covers a wide range of topics, catering to the diverse needs of the attendees. Beginners will be introduced to the fundamentals of radio production, including scriptwriting, voice modulation, and the effective use of broadcast equipment.

Experienced professionals will receive training on advanced techniques, exploring emerging trends, and delving into the intricacies of maintaining audience engagement in the digital age.
