President Yoweri Museveni commissions the Construction of the faculty of engineering at Islamic University in Uganda.

In a momentous occasion coinciding with the 32nd graduation ceremony, the president of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni represented by the vice president of Uganda H.E Jessica Alupo has commissioned the construction of a state-of-the-art Faculty of Engineering at IUIU main Campus. The event marked the symbolic commencement of a groundbreaking project funded under the Islamic Development Bank's (IsDB) Phase II projects at the university.

The commissioning was attended by university council members led by the new chairperson H.E Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdulrazaq Sayyid Ebrahim A Altabtabaei and Representatives from IsDB and OIC.
