Rector's Engagements In Ankara, Türkiye

Having successfully accomplished objectives in Tokat, Rector proceeded to Ankara as the last leg of his trip to Türkiye. There, he first attended the 61st Anniversary of Independence of Uganda organized by the Embassy of Uganda in Türkiye at the invitation of the embassy.

It was an opportunity to meet the team led by Senior Cabinet Officer Dr. Nenden Octavarulia Shanty, from the Statistical, Economic, and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC). They expressed their readiness to develop a concept of collaboration with IUIU.

Together with Ambassador H.E Nusura Tiperu, Rector has visited the International Office of Council of Higher Education (CoHE) of Türkiye. The office has assured ten(10) scholarships to be offered to IUIU in postgraduate studies for the coming academic year, which will begin in the first quarter of 2024.
