The Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) Conference and Annual General Meeting

The IUIU Rector, Prof. Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda is currently in Kigali, Rwanda attending the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) Conference and Annual General Meeting.

Yesterday, he had iftar with the Alumni of IUIU in Kigali. He updated them on the current status of the University. He informed them of the new Directorate of Alumni Engagement and urged them to fully support this initiative, which is intended to mobilise all the Alumni to become one of the enduring pillars of IUIU.

The Alumni, including those from FISAL, Management Studies, and Computer Science expressed their gratitude to IUIU for the excellent education and the Islamic values it imparted in them. They reported that all IUIU alumni in Rwanda are gainfully employed and are contributing to the development of the Country and their communities.
