A Double Triumph, Islamic University In Uganda Clinches Top Honors At East Africa Brand Quality Awards 2025

Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) has won two of the highest accolades in the region's education sector at the prestigious East Africa Brand Quality Awards held on October 17th, 2025, at Golf Course Hotel, Kampala.
The university was honored with the Platinum Award for the Best Private University in East Africa, a top-tier recognition that places it at the top of private higher education in the region. Seal of Quality Excellence, highlighting IUIU's unwavering adherence to superior standards in its educational delivery and institutional operations.
The prestigious honors were received by a dedicated team of campus directors, including Associate Prof. Hajjat Madina Nabukeera, the director of the Female Campus Kabojja, Dr. Twaha Ahmed Kasule from the Kampala Campus, Associate Professor Yasin Olum from the Arua Campus, and Dr. Adam Ali, the Academic Registrar.
Established by an Act of Parliament, IUIU operates with a unique semi-governmental nature, deeply rooted in strong discipline and moral values, making it a distinctive fixture in East Africa's educational landscape.
