IUIU Hosts TOGU Delegation to Explore Academic Collaboration in Engineering and Education

Led by Assoc. Prof. Özkan İnik from the Department of Computer Engineering, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Rector at his office on the Kampala Campus and met with Dr. Taha Kasule, the Director of the Kampala Campus.

Following this warm reception, the delegation proceeded to the Main Campus in Mbale, where they were scheduled to meet with faculty administrators and other academic and administrative staff.

The visiting team included experts from the fields of computer engineering, electrical engineering, and education:
Dr. Ali Akdağ (Computer Engineering), Dr. Mustafa Altıok (Computer Engineering), Lect. Okan Güder (Computer Engineering), Lect. Safa Enes Türkoğlu (Computer Engineering), Lect. Murat Akdağ (Electrical Engineering), Dr. Cezmi Ervüz (Education)

During their visit, the delegation explored opportunities for joint research, faculty exchange, and collaborative projects in engineering and education. The engagement reflects IUIU’s continued commitment to fostering international partnerships and promoting academic excellence.

IUIU looks forward to strengthening its ties with TOGU through impactful initiatives and sustained collaboration in the years ahead.
