‘’Know the value of customers’’, Dr. Madinah tells students

Director of the IUIU Females' Campus in Kabojja, Dr. Madinah Nabukeera, offered a resounding message to the students emphasizing the value of customers, and how their satisfaction determines the success of any organization.

The event marked the second occurrence of the Customer Care Training at IUIU Females' Campus, which has now become an annual tradition for the final year students in the faculty.

"Remember, treat customers well, for they are the bedrock upon which organizational success is built," urged Dr. Madinah with conviction. Her address carried the weight of experience and wisdom, emphasizing the pivotal role that customer care plays in the business world.

Dr. Madinah also stressed the significance of discipline in interactions with customers, highlighting that it not only fosters goodwill but also garners additional support for the organization. "Being disciplined will win them more customers and favor the organization," she declared, inspiring a wave of enthusiasm among the attentive students.

The event was organized by Madam Nassolo, a dedicated lecturer in the Faculty of Management Studies, aimed to provide students with practical insights into customer care. It sought to instill in them an appreciation for the challenges associated with customer service and improve their communication skills.

Participating in the training were students pursuing various courses in the Faculty of Management Studies, encompassing disciplines such as Bachelor of Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Procurement and Logistics, Bachelor of Business Studies, and Bachelor of Public Administration. Through a series of skits, the students showcased their prowess in handling customers in diverse settings, from schools and hospitals to retail shops and banks.

The event culminated in a symbolic cake-cutting session, symbolizing the sweetness of the knowledge and skills that the students had gathered during the training.

In this endeavor, IUIU Females' Campus, Kabojja, has not only nurtured academic excellence but has also laid the foundation for its students to excel in the professional world, understanding the true value of customers and the pivotal role they play in shaping organizational success. With the knowledge gained at this event, these students are undoubtedly better equipped to face the challenges of the modern business landscape.
