IUIU Faculty of Engineering Nears Completion at 88%

The faculty of law at Islamic University in Uganda held a career day for its students On 4th October 2O23 under the theme ''The role of the judiciary, lawyers, and the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs in the administration of justice in Uganda.''
The event was graced by the Vice-Rector in charge of Academic Affairs IUIU Dr. Serwanga Jamil, judge of the High Court of Uganda His Lordship Lubega Farouk as the guest speaker, and Dr. Lina a human rights defender. His lordship, Lubega Farouk emphasized that the administration of justice in Uganda is a collective responsibility of all the stakeholders not only the lawyers, judiciary, and the ministry of justice.
Dr. Lina reiterated the relevancy of lawyers in the administration of justice in Uganda.
The career day concluded with a panel discussion moderated by Ms. Nagadya Hamidah the Dean faculty of law, focusing on educating students on how to overcome the challenges in law school and how to become a successful lawyer.
Professor Tindifa advised students to have a vision, be hardworking, and be goal-oriented.
The Vice Rector of Academic Affairs urged students to always engage themselves in such intellectual activities. He also cited that all faculties need to embrace such activities and that the Rectorship is willing to support such innovative activities that aim to improve learning and promote the professional development of the students.
