On Thursday, 10th April 2025, at 11:30 AM, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed at the UIRI MMISDC - Namanve Campus between the Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI) and the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU).
UIRI was represented by its Executive Director, Dr. Charles Kwesiga, while IUIU was represented by its Rector, Prof. Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda, along with Dr. Umar Yahya, Mr. Sewankambo Hamza, Mr. Dragule Swaib, Mr. Auf Tumwebaze, and Mr. Wakwehya Ahamadah.
This partnership marks a significant step toward fostering collaborative research, innovation, and industrial development. We look forward to a fruitful relationship and continued beneficial collaborations between our institutions.
