The interview Anadolu Agency did with Rector, Prof Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda, has been recently published. The Turkish content reads that he was asked to shed light on the number of challenges in the educational sector in Africa.
In the interview, he touches on the fact that a large number of students from Africa go abroad for education. These students should plan to come back and make contributions to the growth of their countries.
He also made mention of IUIU with its background and some statistics of it. It's worth noting that AA is Türkiye's global news agency, which is one of the most influential news agencies in the world.
The interview was conducted by Dr. Gökhan Kavak, who is a known expert on African Studies in Türkiye.
