Islamic University in Uganda received guests from Alexandria University Egypt on Thursday the 13th of July 2023 at the main campus in Mbale.
The guests were received by the Rector represented by the vice-Rector in charge of Academics Dr jamil Serwanga and other members of staff in the office of the Rector.
The Rector commended the visitors for visiting the university and pointed out the benefits of forming a long-standing relationship between IUIU and the guests.
Issues discussed include leadership challenges and driving for results in the university administration, working together with faculties of Engineering and Agriculture to encourage the success of the university, finding new ways to financially sustain institutions, and reducing the dependence on tuition fees paid by students.
Dr. Mohamed Saied a lecturer from Electrical Engineering, Abu Qir Fertilizers & chemical industries co. advised the members of staff in the IUIU administration to study business administration regardless of their specialization.
