44th Anniversary of The 1979 Iranian Revolution

Yesterday 14th February 2003, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iran hosted Government officials, fellow Diplomats, and other Dignitaries at Sheraton Hotel to commemorate the 44th anniversary of the 1979 Iranian revolution.

Among the invited guests were University Heads and IUIU was represented by the Rector, Assoc Prof. Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda and the Liaison Officer Hajj Hamid Byamugenzi. 
 
Kampala University was represented by the VC Owek. Prof. Badru Ddungu Kateregga and his DVC, Dr. Wardah Rajab-Gyagenda.
 
The President was represented by the Minister of State Foreign Affairs. Hon. Oryem who lauded Iran's development since the revolution
