IUIU Holds Staff Training on Competence-Based Curriculum

The Islamic University in Uganda successfully hosted the 4th Edition of the Constitutional Law Inter-Campus Moot Competition on 7th February 2025 at its Kampala Campus, Kibuli.
The event was graced by Justice Lubega Farouq, who attended as the Guest of Honor. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of practical legal training in shaping competent and ethical lawyers.
The competition aimed at strengthening the university’s mooting culture by actively engaging students in simulated court proceedings. Organizers noted that such initiatives are vital in enhancing students’ understanding of constitutional law while sharpening their advocacy, research, and critical thinking skills, key competencies for future legal professionals.

The faculty extends its appreciation to the university and the teaching staff for their continued support in organizing the event. Special recognition is also given to the students whose participation and dedication contributed to the success of the competition, further elevating the institution’s academic reputation.
