The office of Academic Registrar of IUIU wishes to inform the 2008-2009 graduands and the general public that, the 17th Graduation ceremony will be held on Saturday, 20th February, 2010 beginning at 9.am at the University Main Campus, Mbale. However, all graduands are expected to take their seats by 8.am prompt.
The graduands should take note of the following:
1- Each graduand will pay for the graduation as indicated below;
2- The graduation fees shall be paid in either Tropical Africa Bank, Kampala on account name Islamic University in Uganda, Account No. 001-000-2303 or Standard Chartered Bank, on account name Islamic University in Uganda, Account No. 010-200-603-8000.
3. Graduands who have paid all their University dues in full will be the ones to attend the Graduation Ceremony.
4. The deadline for paying graduation fees and University fees is Friday 5th February 2010.
5. Each graduand should ensure that she or he has satisfied all the University requirements to enable him or her to graduate. This should be done on or before Friday 5th February 2010.
6. Students who intend to graduate should register for graduation on or before Friday, 5th February, 2010 at IUIU Main Campus, IUIU Kampala Campus, IUIU Arua Campus or IUIU Liaison Office, King Fahad Plaza Kampala, or on line at www.iuiu.ac.ug or contact us by Email Address; graduation2010@iuiu.ac.ug
7. Female graduands are reminded to dress according to sharia. Any female graduand who contravenes the University’s dress code will not be allowed to attend the ceremony. Graduation gowns for both male and female graduands shall be obtained at the Main Campus, Mbale and Kampala Campus.
8.The students who completed their studies in previous academic years but did not graduate will be allowed to graduate on satisfying the conditions above. Such students should apply and register with their respective faculties on or before 5th February, 2010.
