IUIU Holds 13th Guild Leadership Training

Islamic University in Uganda is holding the 13th Guild leadership training workshop for its student leaders at female's campus kabojja.
The Student leaders led by their respective Guild presidents from the four campuses of IUIU are hosted by females campus kabojja for the four-day event which started today Monday 07th August 2023 and will close on Thursday 10th August 2023.

The event is organized by the office of the coordinator to equip the student leaders with leadership skills to be in a position to effectively execute their roles and responsibilities.

The director of the female's campus kabojja represented by the Assistant Academic Registrar of the female campus Ms. Mwamin Amin thanked the organizers for hosting the 13th student's leadership training at IUIU-Fc.

She congratulated all the students upon being elected into office and advised the participants to abide by the campus rules. Mwamin advised students to have a positive attitude towards subordinates and wished the participants a lovely stay throughout the training.

Mr Siraji Mukhwana the university coordinator commended the Rector and the university administration for supporting the exercise  and uged the students to utilise their time productively during the training.

The Rector of IUIU Prof. Ismail Simbwa Gyagenda represented by the Director of the females campus kabojja, Dr. Madinah Nabukeera encouraged participants to take into consideration the ideas shared to fulfill their leadership skills.

The Rector also congratulated the appointed leaders and encouraged each of them to acquaint themselves with the core values of IUIU Integrity, faith, Excellence, diversity, and creativity.  

Students were also encouraged to excel academically, acquire knowledge, and put it into practice. ''A leader should influence people for them to follow and say good things about you''.
