The project by Ms. Habiba Saleh Sharif and Mr. Namakali Paul compliments IUIU’s strategic plan 2021-2026 which envisages digitalisation of all education and work operations in an effort to advance IUIU into a 21st Century University that embraces 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies for educational excellence. Effects from Covid-19 have accelerated digitalization processes to support education, learning and work operations.
IUIU intends to adopt and patent the project. IUIU hopes to scale-up the project so that all buildings on campus are secured with electronic door lock access control systems to improve security.
